Glasgow has always had a rich nightlife scene - regardless of what era the city has found itself in - today we’re remembering some old pubs and clubs that we’ve lost along the way.
Our city has been the heart of culture, clubbing, pubbing, and general good times in Scotland for generations now - but in that time, we’ve lost some of our old favourite haunts.

9. Two Ways Pub
Now occupied by the Brass Monkey in Finnieston, the old Two Ways Pub was a fixture of the community long before it got gentrified. The Two Ways was most famous for featuring in the Rab C Nesbitt show in external shots. Photo: Google Maps
10. Victoria's
Victoria’s was a popular nightclub spot in Glasgow during the 1990s with it attracting a number of both Celtic and Rangers players until footballers were banned in 2008 by new owners. The building is no longer there after the nightclub went up in flames in 2018 along with other businesses.
11. Bennetts

12. Sports Cafe
The Sports Cafe was a popular spot for students to head to in the early naughties as it served alcohol at bargain prices. It was converted into Campus until it’s closure in 2018.
